It’s not nice to mix different aspects of your personality. Although my main reason for not using and experimenting with tools like facebook is that I want to keep my life private. I choose what to share. I like sharing ideas, but I’m not in for a reality show. There’s nothing wrong on keeping some things at the other side of the fence.

At school, we have been told to be careful about using Facebook and blogging. The career services dept has advised us us not to post party pics on Facebook for fear that the pics might not go down well with recruiters.
Personally, I think Facebook should be used just to be in touch with friends and it should be kept separate from academic or professional life.
